We are seeking a highly experienced and inspirational CEO to lead the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA). This role presents a unique opportunity for a purpose driven and outcome-focused CEO to lead a well-established, well-respected organisation on its next steps towards growth and sustainability.
The CEO will have demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. They will have a history of positively leading diverse teams of people and have the proven ability to oversee the delivery of the organisational strategic plans working with and reporting to the Board of Directors.
The Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia is the peak, national body representing Australians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. FECCA’s role is to advocate and promote issues on behalf of its constituency to government, public and private sectors, and the broader community.
FECCA works to promote fairness and responsiveness to our constituency in the delivery and design of government policies and programs. We promote multiculturalism as a core value that defines what it means to be Australian in the 21st century.

The position implements the strategic direction set by the FECCA Executive; undertakes day-to-day managements of the organisation and provides sound fiscal management and legal compliance; representing the organisation as appropriate; maintains and develops productive partnerships; provides inspiring and supportive leaderships to the staff; prepares complex documents as part of the organisations’ policy and advocacy work.
The position is full time and salary - dependent upon skills and experience - will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
