Can you picture yourself:

  • gathering and analysing workforce metrics within designated business units, identifying trends, and developing explanatory narrative to enable insight and to inform relevant business decisions.
  • coaching managers to have courageous conversations with a view to triaging and deescalating ER/IR matters via good governance and ensuring compliance
  • supporting managers with disciplinary, grievances, sickness absence, performance management matters.

This is a permanent full time People & Culture Business Partner opportunity based in Rhodes with some travel to sites across NSW.

About you:

As an experienced HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist, you will have:

  • Broad depth of experience across the employee life cycle, with a particular focus on supporting great team performance,
  • Experience with guidance, management and support of more junior HR practitioners,
  • Experience partnering closely with the business, to meet their needs while maintaining a direct line of reporting to the GM People & Culture (and the balancing act that can ensue),
  • You’re firm, but fair. You approach your job with respect and curiosity. You challenge the status quo when needed,
  • Ability to look beyond compliance-oriented HR to develop innovative, effective solutions to meet stakeholder needs and address strategic opportunities
  • Down to earth, agile nature to adapt to a constantly changing environment while delivering outcomes
  • Passion for lifelong learning and keeping up to date with current HR/ER/IR trends, practices including legislative and regulatory frameworks
