We have had an increase in demand for Behaviour Support Services across our Avenue and Jigsaw enterprises and as a result we now have an exciting opportunity available for a Behaviour Support Team Leader to provide support and guidance to our talented team.

This position is crucial in improving the standard of behaviour support implementation across Fighting Chance (FC) through the provision of training, technical supervision and operational best practice leadership.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to our Plus Clinical Manager this role will provide line management oversight to all Behaviour Support Coordinators across both Jigsaw and Avenue Hubs.

Working closely with Plus Clinical and Fighting Chance Quality & Continuous Improvement teams, the BSOS oversees behaviour-related NDIS compliance requirements and coordinates internal behaviour reporting.

Responsible for the technical (non-clinical) onboarding of Behaviour Support Coordinators (BSC), the BSOS ensures consistency and commitment to a high standard of positive behaviour support service provision and meeting the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have a relevant qualification and/or 2+ years previous experience. We require an energetic, passionate leader who possesses an understanding of NDIS practices and working as a NDIS provider. Additionally, you will have experience working with people who exhibit challenging behaviours and have a sound knowledge of health and safety requirements.

You will also be a good communicator, provide professional advice and have the ability to establish relationships and liaise with Stakeholders and any relevant industry body representatives.

This role may require you to travel domestically from time to time and may also require evening or weekend work on occasion.
