ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position is offered on a 12 month Contract basis. The Connect Zone Lead is responsible for delivering high quality training and work experience activities for Jigsaw Trainees and Paid Trainees while actively supporting and championing their successful transition into mainstream employment. This integrated role supervises Trainers and Paid Trainees to ensure that training programs are impactful, business contracts are completed to a high standard, and participants are prepared for open employment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive support plans to facilitate placements.
- Provide guidance and ongoing support through regular engagement with employers and graduates.
- Utilise networks and platforms to discover job opportunities for Jigsaw participants
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the National Transitions Manager, Hub Manager and Strategic Account Manager for consistent process improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A relevant qualification in Training/Teaching/Allied Health and/or 2+ years previous experience in a position with transferable skills to the position.
- Possess a working knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising a team.
- Experience in Training and Development is a plus.
