About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team at Flintwood Disability Services Inc. in Castle Hill, NSW. As our HRBP, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organisation's HR initiatives and driving positive employee engagement across our organisation. This is a full-time position based in our Castle Hill office.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing business-focused HR advice and support to our operational leaders and management team
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our organisational objectives
  • Partnering with the HR team to address complex employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Facilitating employee engagement and change management initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Implementing and maintaining effective talent management and development processes
  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers on people management best practices

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in HR as a Business Partner in Australia, with a strong focus on workers' compensation, industrial relations, and employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of industrial relations and employment law within the disability services industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
  • Experience leading and implementing HR initiatives, such as employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate complex HR challenges.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
