Are you interested in growing your career in HR with Flintwood Disability Services? We are seeking expressions of interest for a Human Resources Officer role. This full-time position will be based at our Castle Hill office in NSW and will play a key role in supporting our HR functions.

As part of our dynamic HR team, the successful candidate would contribute to initiatives that support a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and managing the onboarding process
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters, such as performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and regulations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, fostering open communication and employee engagement

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Coordinator role
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Passion for supporting and developing people, and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
