The Role

Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of BPA websites. This role will be sensitive to the issue of digital exclusion and recognise that a good digital experience can foster community connection. The position holder works closely with the Executive Manager (Brand, Digital and Corporate Communications), the Social Media and Communications Coordinator, the Centre for Better Relationships and external agencies.

The position holder will be responsible for presenting BPA’s inclusive and engaging digital presence to the community and external stakeholders. Experience with a for-purpose values based organisation will be well regarded.

What you can expect to do in this role

  • Maintenance of websites - Better Place Australia, Financial First Aid (& microsites).
  • Commissioning or writing new content, creating new pages, editing and auditing existing content, and removing outdated content.
  • Ensure the website meets the needs and expectations of users, clients, and stakeholders, while also aligning with the organisation's goals and objectives.
  • Monitors and reports on website performance.
  • Assist in creation, analysis & modification of social media consumer/client content portfolio (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Work jointly with internal and external stakeholders to lead the development and implementation of an integrated website traffic growth and conversion strategy.
  • Ensure best practice SEO, technical health, analytics and evidence-based continuous improvement – a basic understanding of HTML a huge bonus!
  • Develop multi-channel marketing campaigns, collaborating with both internal stakeholders and the external agency partner to a six-month calendar.
  • Ad platforms oversight in search and social, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Ad Grants.
  • Assist with the creative development of assets including Ads, videos and content.

What you will require

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Website management (WordPress) with demonstrated experience curating and publishing content to a Content Management System (CMS).
  • SEO knowledge - Being familiar with best practices for search engine optimisation.
  • Strong interest in meaningful social media engagements.
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools e.g., Meta Business Suite.
  • Copywriting experience fit for channel (e.g. EDM vs Website vs Social).
  • Proficiency in WordPress with the ability to work with the team to develop and produce effective campaigns and optimise the website and landing pages.
  • Knowledge of best practice in SEO, SEM and AI trends.
  • Experience managing Google Ad Words/ Ad Grant and leveraging keywords.
  • Experience reporting on campaigns and websites using Google Analytics with the ability to draw on the data to inform campaign recommendations for changes and optimisations e.g., targeting, ad creative, etc.
  • Strong customer service and internal consulting skills.
