The Role – Individual Giving Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Individual Giving Specialist to further drive donor engagement across their appeals, regular and planned giving programs.

This role will be fast paced and suit an experienced fundraiser with exceptional relationship, project management and organisational skills.

As the Individual Giving Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel donor campaigns, appeals and newsletters. Joining a wider team of 12, you will have access to specialists in data and reporting, work with trusted fundraising agencies and be able to work with healthy budgets to enable you to deliver on your target and ensure that every donor journey is meaningful and impactful.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the end-to-end appeals process, ensuring timely and compelling campaigns.
  • Developing and implementing donor journeys to maximise engagement and retention.
  • Provide strategic input to growing the regular giving program.
  • Overseeing relationships with partner agencies and mail-houses.
  • Planning future digital channel fundraising initiatives to diversify revenue streams.
  • Providing input into budget planning and projections for individual giving programs.
  • Utilising CRM systems and data insights to optimise campaign performance.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop a wider organisational fundraising culture

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role within a charity or fundraising agency
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end appeals processes and deliver results.
  • Experience working with creative agencies and mail-houses to produce high-quality campaigns.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel donor engagement strategies and an Interest in digital fundraising.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in copywriting and/or design being an advantage.
  • Competency in budget planning, projections, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems & Microsoft Office
