FORM is well-known for delivering significant cultural tourism projects and creative experiences in collaboration with key strategic partners, including Ngurra Kuju Walyja — One Country One People — The Canning Stock Route Project; Tracks We Share: Contemporary Art of the Pilbara; and Thomas Dambo’s Giants of Mandurah. We also manage FORM Gallery in Perth and Spinifex Hill Studio and Project Space in South Hedland.
In this rewarding role, the Project Officer assists with significant and multi-year projects and programs. The position is managed by the Cultural Tourism Manager, and will work closely with Community Engagement Specialist – Pilbara.
Provide effective support in the administration and delivery of projects and programs. Prepare project documentation, such as correspondence and presentations. Assist with communication including being a first point of contact for calls and queries. Support the team with meeting coordination, workshops, community engagement/consultation schedules, logistics and other tasks. Liaise to coordinate travel and processing accounts. Record keeping.
At least one year of experience in an administrative or project officer role in an art and/or cultural position. Knowledge of contemporary Western Australian art and cultural sector. Strong communication and administrative skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Basic understanding of accounts and financial processes. Availability to undertake regular regional travel to achieve project-specific objectives. Current within one (1) month, or ability to obtain, a National Police Clearance
Current and unrestricted C Class Drivers licence
