THE ROLE

This key role manages a range of data projects, driving the operational excellence of all issues related to our data (including insights, security, integrity and privacy). This role works closely with the Salesforce Administrator, and maintains key relationships across all departments, supporting a broad range of fundraising and communications activities.

The purpose of this role is to provide business insights, improve data and systems efficiency, and ensure compliance. Through their work this key role facilitates improved long-term relationships with our supporters, ultimately ensuring FOUR PAWS to help more animals across the world.

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE

Development and Project Management - Develop, implement and manage projects designed to enhance and maintain data quality and integrity.

Data Privacy and Compliance – Ensure compliance of all data movement and storage with privacy and data protection legislation, implement and maintain secure and compliant methods of data transfer and relevant documentation.

Data Systems and Management – Oversee Salesforce CRM, ensuring data quality, integrity and governance, identifying gaps in processes and implementing improvements.

Analytics and Reporting – Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive data analysis and reporting to support organisational decision making.

Resource Management and Leadership - Act as content and subject matter expert, supervising, providing guidance and acting as point of escalation for Data and Supporter Services Staff.

Active team and organisational member - Cultivate productive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, ensuring the Supporter Services team is fully appraised of upcoming data work with the information and tools to perform their roles to a high standard.

ABOUT YOU

• You have experience working in Data or Fundraising in a NFP environment.
• You are a problem solver and have a proactive and positive approach to your work.
• You are at home living in the detail of data analysis and CRM’s.
• You are comfortable self-directing.
• You have worked closely with Fundraisers and understand their data & insight needs.
• You have demonstrated experience managing and overseeing CRM databases in a non-for-profit environment (Salesforce experience is highly regarded).
• You are collaborative and can work with all kinds of people.
• You have a strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance (including PCI-DSS).
• You have experience delivering supporter-centric services.
• You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and solution implementation.
• Desirable: You have experience with Marketing Cloud, Power BI, Apsona, Form Assembly, Experience Cloud, SQL and coding appreciated but not required.
