About FPIP

For Purpose Investment Partners (FPIP) is a not-for-profit social impact investment manager. At FPIP we see the opportunity for mainstream capital to migrate to impact-focused investing given the growing evidence of attractive financial returns. We call this movement “Capitalism 2.0”. It is based on the practical insight that in those large sectors of the economy where there is a combination of critical social need and significant government funding, the capacity to run large scale enterprises with business discipline for social purpose is vital, and if done properly can generate both long dated commercial returns and measurable social outcomes.

Within the social sector, we have identified Aged Care, Disability, Social and Affordable Housing, Mental Health and Skills Education as subsectors with significant need in which private capital can make a meaningful difference while generating appropriate, commercial returns. FPIP was established in 2017 and has undertaken several transactions, raising money on an as-needed basis as well as establishing our first fund, the Social Impact Fund I in December 2021. We currently have approximately A$100m of assets under management and our current portfolio consists of specialist disability accommodation, a skills education business with two registered training organisations, and a specialist NDIS food delivery business. From the beginning of April, we will also have an aged care provider with three residential aged care facilities in Victoria. Given our growing portfolio and a strong pipeline of further opportunities in the social sectors, we are looking for an Investment Manager to join our small and dynamic team.

As a values-driven organisation, we care deeply about the impact our organisation and investments have on society, and have fostered a culture in which all team members are encouraged to think creatively about the best use of capital and to speak up to raise suggestions and challenge colleagues when discussing ideas as a group.

FPIP is an equal employment opportunity employer, committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. We recognise the value in building a workplace culture which integrates diversity, equity and inclusion into how we work, and values the unique contributions and needs of every employee. Inclusive workplace culture is deeply-rooted in respect for all people and their human rights regardless of gender, age, heritage and cultural background, skills, experience, sexual orientation, disabilities, work styles and ideas. If you’re keen to apply and need reasonable adjustments to the application process or interview process, please let us know.
