In this role, you'll:

  • Lead a purpose-driven retail operation that generates vital funding for housing young people and young families.
  • Manage day-to-day store operations including stock rotation, merchandising, and sales
  • Create an engaging shopping environment that attracts customers while sharing our mission
  • Develop community partnerships to increase donations and store visibility
  • Provide valuable work experience opportunities for program participants
  • Directly contribute to changing the lives of vulnerable young people and families
  • Receive training and support (MHFA, FA, Dealing with Conflict, etc)
  • Access to a vehicle

Successful applicants must have:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to mobilise and draw boundaries
  • Proven history of supporting a team to maintain systems and follow policies/procedures
  • Experience directing and motivating a team and working alongside dynamic colleagues
  • Ability to proactively work in a busy environment
  • Strong multitasking skills to balance management responsibilities with day-to-day shop operations
  • Capacity to prioritize effectively while maintaining attention to detail
  • Commitment to creating a positive shopping experience while supporting the charity's mission

This position requires someone who can seamlessly manage administrative duties while actively participating in hands-on shop operations to ensure the social enterprise thrives.
