Role Description

FW Jobs Academy is a year-long, virtual program for women and gender-diverse people who are searching for work, returning after a career break or are serious about upskilling and making a career change. The program is flexible, self-paced and completely free for participants.

The Senior Manager, Communications of Jobs Academy will be responsible for building and retaining member engagement across a range of member cohorts through a strategic approach that prioritises accessibility and inclusion. The role also focuses on delivering initiatives that drive program design improvements, leveraging insights and learning to support the team’s capacity to scale.

This role is hybrid/remote and will be a 12 month contract.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support all communications for Jobs Academy, including but not limited to newsletters, website, onboarding, applications and other bespoke communications as required.
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Data and Reporting to optimise member engagement through audience segmentation.
  • Work closely with the Member Support Manager to identify and analyse support trends, informing proactive and timely communication efforts to bridge gaps and enhance member engagement.
  • Delivery of alumni engagement activities, including alumni membership inclusions, monitoring of alumni engagement and leveraging alumni support for FW advocacy work.
  • Support Interns and Assistants contributing to member engagement activities.
  • Support the efficient and innovative running of the Jobs Academy in any other way, as directed by the Head of Jobs Academy Delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience writing content for a variety of formats, including newsletters, websites, social media and emails.
  • Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and concise content.
  • Experience crafting messaging that resonates with different audiences, from members to external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and grammar, with the ability to ensure consistent tone, style, and voice across all communications.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and adjust strategies, as necessary.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
