The Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS) is a not-for-profit organisation providing pound, shelter and veterinary services to the Geelong region. Op Shop Volunteers play a key role in supporting the animal welfare work of the Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS). GAWS’ aim for financial sustainability and excellent reputation in the community is enhanced by the role of the volunteers and Op Shops and the communities they service. Volunteers involved in the GAWS Op Shops receive, sort, price and sell goods following written procedures, open and close the facility and communicate with the Volunteer Coordinator.
The Op Shops are located on Vines Road and Pakington Street. Flexible volunteering options are available, onboarding will be provided.
