Inspired by a big heart and brain, the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation (RCD) was created in June 2013 in the memory of Robert ‘Connor’ Dawes. RCD’s mission supports paediatric brain tumour matters in the areas of world-class research; patient care support like music therapy; and development to inspire the next generation of brain cancer practitioners and researchers.
The Fundraising & Partnerships Manager will work closely with the CEO to implement business strategy and advance the mission of RCD. This role will lead the development and execution of Australia-wide fundraising programs, systems, and initiatives, while effectively building, nurturing, and stewarding both new and existing relationships. Additionally, this role will support the US Business Development Manager with monthly meetings and assistance as needed, as well as manage one staff member, being the Brain Cancer Community Liaison.
This pivotal role is essential in creating compelling cases for support and driving sustainable funding across multiple revenue streams, including Major Gifts, Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships, Community and Peer to Peer Fundraising (including Connor’s Run, Connor’s ERG and Brainy Ball) and Events. You will be responsible for overseeing fundraising initiatives and fostering long-term relationships to ensure continued support.
