The Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute is an independent, internationally renowned medical research facility, with a history spanning almost 100 years. The Institute’s work extends from the laboratory to wide-scale community studies focusing on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The Baker Institute is the nation’s first multi-disciplinary organisation tackling the deadly trio of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease through research, education and patient care.
Working as part of the broader Community and Corporate Relations team, and reporting to the Gifts in Wills and Estates Manager, the Gifts in Wills Officer will be part of building a sustainable gift in wills program by effectively prospecting, cultivating and soliciting Gift in Wills prospects, through the principles of fundraising moves management.
This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your exemplary donor stewardship and service skills. You will focus on soliciting gifts from Gifts in Wills prospects, as well as stewarding BHDI’s passionate confirmed bequestors through phone-based engagement, direct mail, events and digital activities.
This is a great opportunity to build your fundraising career within a donor centric fundraising team that is well integrated into the broader organisation and offers ongoing professional development opportunities tailored to your needs.
