This is a newly created opportunity for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person to support employment and career development within the RACGP. Reporting to our Senior Reconciliation Action Plan Advisor, you’ll be focused on advising and supporting the implementation of strategies to attract, recruit, and retain Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees within the RACGP, contributing to a culturally safe workplace and ensuring alignment with our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy and Plan.
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) represents GPs across urban and rural Australia, supporting the nation’s health system for over 60 years by setting educational and practice standards and advocating for improved health and wellbeing. We promote the future of general practice through community-based training models, including the Australian General Practice Training Program, ensuring GPs are equipped to deliver quality, whole-person care and facilitating ongoing professional development while connecting GPs with communities nationwide.
