The opportunity
The People, Capability and Transformation (PCT) team play a critical role in ensuring that the RACGP has a positive and inclusive culture, provides an engaging employee experience, and has the right people to deliver on the RACGP vision and strategy.
In this role you’ll partner with hiring managers, providing expert advice on a range of talent solutions, whilst utilising advanced sourcing techniques to continually improve quality of hire. The role has a proactive focus, working to develop talent pools and pipelines for a variety of roles, also providing market insights and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with hiring managers to provide strategic and proactive talent solutions
- Work to develop deep talent pools and pipelines for critical roles, reducing time to fill and increasing quality of hire
- Utilise a range of advertising channels, continually reviewing their effectiveness and contributing to the development and promotion of RACGP’s brand
- Complete end to end recruitment & selection activities across a range of roles
- Utilise advanced sourcing techniques (both active and passive) to source suitable candidates, including building out advanced Boolean search strings, headhunting, and market mapping.
- Proactively seek out networking opportunities, new sourcing channels, events, forums, and other contemporary approaches to increase RACGP’s talent pipelines and decrease time to hire, and reduce agency spend, for hard to fill roles.
- Partner with the Senior HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to scope out positions and assist with developing and classifying accurate Position Descriptions.
- Ensure suitable candidates are short-listed, interviewed, and placed; always considering opportunities and ways to improve RACGP’s Diversity.
You demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment and selection activities across a variety of roles, adopting advanced/proactive and passive sourcing strategies e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean searching
- Demonstrated experience providing expert level advice and coaching to hiring managers
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to introduce positive change through results and credibility
- Strong knowledge of the employment market and demonstration of proactively seeking market intelligence and data to inform decision making
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities with ease
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels, to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and exercise judgment and problem-solving capabilities
- Significant experience and proficiency with talent pooling and Applicant Tracking Systems
- A relevant undergraduate qualification in business or similar discipline and/or relevant work experience
