THE COMPLIANCE OFFICER ROLE
The compliance officer is responsible for ensuring The Glen Group meets regulatory, statutory and risk compliance across both The Glen for Men and The Glen for Women. The compliance officer is also responsible for managing the assessment and office team.
The role of the Compliance Officer is to support the management team to meet all compliance requirements:
- HR compliance: SCHADS award, Fair Work Act 2009, WHS Act 2001
- Operational compliance: Risk management plans, accreditation, Safe Operating Procedures & bookkeeping requirements
- WHS compliance: This includes being the designated Return-to-Work (RTW) Coordinator
- Statutory compliance: CATSI Act 2006, Fundraising Act & Regulations, ATO requirements
- Reporting compliance: Drafting finding reporting based off clinical data and reporting systems
The Compliance Officer will make decisions and delegate tasks according to the Schedule of Delegations and continually work with staff at The Glen to upskill. The Compliance Officer will be managing a team of 3 that includes:
- Assessment Officer and Systems Coordinator
- Assessments Coordinator
- Receptionist
This includes managing the resources of the team to plan workflow, identify process improvements and performance management.
