About The Glen

The Glen Group is an award-winning and internationally recognised drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Outreach Coordinator who’s primary responsibility is to support clients who have completed the program and return to their communities. This involves organising events, establishing partnerships and connecting people with support. Some travel to regional communities is required in this role.

About the role

This is a newly established role to better support clients at The Glen for Men when they complete the residential program. The primary responsibilities are to organise community events, establish partnerships and connect clients with support/services. Most importantly, this is a pilot program that requires a significant amount of documentation, reporting, data collection and evaluation, to create a framework/template to embed the program into The Glen's operatons. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organise outreach events across NSW inc. booking venues, organising food, planning schedule, communicating to stakeholders (phone, email, calendars etc.)
  • Devise stakeholder management plan and build relationships with partners in different areas
  • Negotiate agreements with partners (in collaboration with TGFM team) 
  • Liaise with families
  • Outreach calls to former residents
  • The ability to travel (need driver’s licence) and MR desired
  • A demonstrable understanding of SEWB and the ADARRN Model of Care
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant services who can provide high quality and appropriate support to clients
  • Case management: Information, advice and referral

REMUNERATION

The Glen remunerated according to the SCHADS award with the level to based on your experience & qualifications and can be negotiated.
