The Global EverGreening Alliance (the Alliance) is an international NGO that coordinates the development and implementation of massive-scale land restoration programs in developing countries around the world.
The Alliance was established to develop and apply long-term solutions to the global problems of land degradation and climate change. This is done through a collaborative approach with an emphasis on evergreening practices: regenerative farming that integrates trees into crop and livestock production systems of smallholder farms.
Our members include World Vision, CARE International, Oxfam, Catholic Relief Services, Conservation International and the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), as well as many other international NGOs, research institutes, and grassroots organisations.
Further information on the Alliance can be found on our website.
The Alliance is seeking a passionate, motivated and experienced individual to join our Grants and Partnerships Team. Reporting to the Grants and Partnerships Manager, the Africa Portfolio Manager will identify and design multi-million dollar land restoration and rural livelihoods projects in the Africa region, in collaboration with investors/donors and Alliance in-country members. This is a unique opportunity to work across an exceptionally diverse base of stakeholders and programs, and to work in partnership with leading NGOs to support vulnerable communities and restore degraded landscapes.
Please refer to the attached Position Description for further detail.
You must have the right to work in Australia to apply for this role. To apply please provide a copy of your CV and a cover letter clearly addressing the Key Selection Criteria.
Only candidates who address the selection criteria will be considered for shortlisting.
Applications will be reviewed as they come in, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
