Admin & Operations Manager

Go Gentle Australia

WHO WE ARE

Do you want to make a difference? Work on something meaningful and have a purpose? Join Go Gentle Australia - a small team making a big difference to end-of-life care.

We are a national charity known for our major role in legalising voluntary assisted dying laws in all six Australian states. These laws mean people who are terminally ill can choose to end their lives on their own terms with help from their doctor.

Voluntary assisted dying returns power and control to the dying person, providing choice, comfort and relief to them and their loved ones. Now the systems are up and running in five states, with NSW to follow later this year, you’ll join at a pivotal time and a period of growth.

We work in a light, airy office in Darlinghurst with easy access to the city, green space and too many cafes to count - which happily also allows dogs. We're a caffeine-powered, friendly team who believe in a positive work-life balance. Flexible working is welcomed.

THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced operations professional, able to work in office environments and small teams, to join us on a part-time basis (3-4 days a week). You’ll work directly with the CEO to keep our team organised, our processes efficient and help us deliver our key projects.

  • Improve and develop our policies and procedures
  • Provide basic IT, technical and trouble-shooting support
  • Make sure our day-to-day office operations run smoothly, including managing our office space

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised, efficient and great attention to detail

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines

WHO YOU ARE

Whether you’re looking for the next step in your career, returning to work after a break or moving sectors - we want to hear from you. You are at home working on multiple projects and enjoy having an overview of everything in an organisation. You must be:
