Role Purpose

Reporting to the General Manager Marketing and Communications, you will work in collaboration with peers in communication and media, marketing and fundraising to lead and grow the people, strategy, systems and work within the brand and marketing functions to enhance our brand and deliver our strategy for the clients we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an enterprise-wide brand strategy and marketing strategy that will form part of the enterprise 2023-2027 Marketing and Communications strategic plan.
  • Provide brand management capability to provide brand governance, strategy and to ensure the protection and licensed use of the brand through our own organisation, partnerships and other networks.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and with marketing and communication leadership to establish and manage measurement, analytics and reporting for key marketing and communications platforms and activities aligned to the organisation’s strategic priorities and operational KPIs.
  • Drive our brand clarity and recognition through paid exposure across all media and work with the communications and media team to help generate earned media exposure.
  • Maintain measurement and reporting systems and processes for the organisation across brand and marketing – collaborating with communications, media and fundraising where this requires a combined view of paid and earned or internal and external activity. 

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing and a record of experience working at a senior level
  • Demonstrated career history of brand management and marketing practice with evidence of developing, executing and leading strategy and supervising or leading others in these crafts
  • Senior level experience providing strategic and tactical marketing advice in a for-purpose, government or community organisation
  • Experience leading a team and collaborating internally - using an agile project management methodology and tools (Trello)
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and consulting skills, including advanced promotional writing (copywriting) experience
