  • SCHCADS Level 7, $113,131.14 (plus super and salary packaging)

Role Purpose

The purpose of the Senior Finance Business Partner is to deliver finance partnering to GSANZ service and support functions. This role comprises monthly business reporting and analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting, costing, tender development and acquittal submission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted business partner through the delivery of finance partnering across the organisation, with an understanding of the diverse finance information needs, including regular meetings to communicate financial information and to impart financial literacy
  • Provide finance partnering services to one service division and support services as required
  • Provide financial planning and analysis to support the General Managers (GMs), Program Managers, and Team Leaders including creation and ongoing analysis of budgets, and forecasts, and a thorough understanding of cost centres
  • Support the annual budget process through development of program and division budgets, people costing and business plans
  • Preparation of funding acquittals in conjunction with the program leads
  • Support management of carry forwards for funding grants

About you

  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • CPA, CA or comparable qualification
  • Experience of at least 5 years in financial management roles
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial and management accounting disciples
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
