We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Early Learning Consultant to join the Victorian/Tasmania team.

The successful candidate will support services in the Melbourne Metro area with occasional rural travel within the State.

As a practice and content expert in early childhood education and care, you will work with centre directors and educational leaders to assess the strengths and needs of practice in our centres. Your lateral-thinking abilities will shine as you contribute to the development and delivery of relevant tools and resources to centre teams to enable them to meet our number one guiding principle – children are central to everything we do.

In addition to your Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, you will have extensive practice–based early childhood education experience and excellent communication skills.

As someone who likes to help others achieve high-quality results, you will have a hands-on approach to support our centre leadership teams with putting the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework into practice at our centres.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• A teaching degree in early childhood or equivalent in human services (Mandatory)
• Expert knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework in practice
• Proven practical experience in an early learning setting
• A reputation for being a respected mentor
• Demonstrated ability to assess strengths and needs based on evidence, observation and data
• Experience in developing action plans
• Excellent problem-solving skills
