Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organisation, which uses peaceful, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and develop solutions for a green and peaceful future.
The Creative Team is made up of the Creative Lead and a Creative Producer, and sits within the Creative and Technology Department at Greenpeace, alongside colleagues in engineering, insights and user experience (UX). The primary goal of Greenpeace is to bring down the might of the fossil fuel order standing in the way of a sustainable future; this team's job is to produce creative projects that fulfil this goal. Whether it's stopping a huge new dangerous coal mine, taking the fight of the Pacific to the world's biggest stages, or pushing huge corporations to ditch coal, you'll be working on campaigns we believe will make the world safer and more just.
Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) is looking for a Creative Lead to join us for an eight-month contract while one of our wonderful team members is away on parental leave. In this role, you’ll be providing strategic creative leadership to the organisation, and steering the production and distribution of high-level creative projects that inspire people to act for a green and peaceful future. You’ll also be managing teams, budgets and timelines, and setting the tone for visual and creative storytelling at GPAP. This role also engages with traditional and social media, commissions creative assets, and oversees relationships with creative agencies and freelancers.
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running, and use their creative production experience with campaigns and fundraising to create incredible content for GPAP. You’ll be a people person who’s great at building relationships internally and externally, and knows how to work with creative agencies, partners and contractors. You’ll also know how to harness your leadership experience and excellent organisational skills to coordinate and take full ownership of a range of creative projects.

Salary $101,057.76 per annum + Superannuation
The start date for this role is 3 May 2021.
This role can be performed remotely (within Australia), with travel to Sydney for quarterly team meetings.
