THE ROLE

As the Creative Producer, you'll be the driving force behind the creation of compelling content that amplifies our mission and campaigns. Working collaboratively with Engagement, Fundraising, Campaign, and Project teams, you'll spearhead the development of strategic photo, video, design, and multimedia projects, bringing our channel and content strategies to life. Your role is pivotal in inspiring action for a green and peaceful future by producing innovative, data-driven, and audience-centric content.

You'll play a key role in developing core branded products and assets, providing creative storytelling guidance, and offering educational support to GPAP staff and other content creators. Your responsibilities extend to stakeholder relationship management, including coordination with external contractors, and ensuring the maintenance of multimedia equipment, tools, and GPAP's archive library.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Your skills shine through in researching and producing impactful storytelling products, graphic design, and digital/print media production. You're adept at conceptualising, researching, and recruiting talent for content creation, showcasing excellent negotiation, facilitation, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of systems like Google Suite, Notion, and Slack and advanced proficiency in creative production tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Knowledge of photo and video archiving, contracting, licensing, and Copyright Law is a must!

Your deep familiarity with online culture and social media platforms, combined with an awareness of the diverse cultures in the Australia Pacific region, sets you apart.

Exceptional self-organisation, project management, and budgeting skills are vital. Proficiency in written and spoken English, scriptwriting, and proofreading, with a second language as a bonus, is highly valued. Your interpersonal relationship skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence are essential, especially when working with people in vulnerable circumstances. You bring a track record of producing creative content for diverse outcomes, engaging with online communities across multiple networks simultaneously.

In addition you will have the following experience;

  • At least four (4) years of professional experience as a graphic designer, video producer or photo editor, with experience leading a diverse range of creative projects
  • A strong background in video, photographic and design production of various scales
  • A track record of achieving success in traditional and social media-driven campaigns or initiatives
  • Experience working with external suppliers, stakeholders and managing contractors while successfully setting, monitoring and evaluating their output
  • Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
