This is a full-time, fixed-term position for a 14-month contract. Open to candidates Australia wide.

THE TEAM

This role sits within our Fundraising and Technology department as an integral part of our Donor Development team. We are a high-performing group dedicated to protecting and preserving our natural world, fueled by a shared mission to inspire action and create sustainable change. THE ROLE

This role will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Donor Experience and Loyalty and other teams to plan, drive and coordinate all elements of direct mail and digital fundraising appeals, retention calling programs, story and loyalty initiatives across our single and regular giving portfolios.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone with knowledge of best practice donor retention, upgrade and loyalty fundraising strategies. As well as ideally an understanding of fundraising and non-government organisations, particularly in the local market.

You will have strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills to partner with our external stakeholders, campaigners, supporter engagement, data, technology and digital growth teams to ensure supporters are inspired to continue supporting us.

Whilst ensuring excellent quality and coordinating the design of engaging donor communications and content, you’ll also have:

  • Knowledge of Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) fundraising policies and guidelines
  • A strong understanding of effective fundraising practices within a campaigning organisation
  • Skills in data analysis, data interpretation and ability to provide strategic insights and actions from the use of data in fundraising
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex budgets, and planning and executing digital direct marketing campaigns - previous experience planning and executing direct mail appeals will be highly regarded

Annual full-time salary: $94,905.77 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.
