About us

Greens MP Kobi Shetty was elected to the NSW Legislative Assembly in 2023, representing a highly engaged constituency in Sydney’s inner west. Our small, passionate Electorate Office team works to support the MP in a fast paced, high demand environment.

We provide exceptional one-on-one support to constituents as well as building good relationships with organisations and stakeholders to advance the Greens principles of social and economic justice, environmental sustainability, grassroots democracy, and peace & non-violence.

About the position

There is currently an opportunity to join Kobi’s team as a casual communications and community outreach specialist. This role will support her team to ensure that constituents are fully informed and engaged with her work, and to assist in the development and delivery of campaigns that will improve our local community.

We’re looking for someone with some or all of the following:

• Demonstrated design skills, especially using Canva and InDesign
• A working knowledge of NationBuilder’s website management and bulk emailing features
• Experience in community outreach and engagement including database management
• Experience with traditional media and copywriting

General admin and customer service experience will be highly regarded.
