The office of Senator Nick McKim is seeking applications for a full-time non-ongoing Office Manager, based in the Parliamentarian’s Electorate Office in Hobart, Tasmania.
This contract is for an initial 6 month period, or up until a Federal Election, with the possibility for extension and/or ongoing employment.
This position is critical to the operation of Senator McKim’s electorate office in Hobart.
The Office Manager will handle essential day-to-day tasks including ensuring the office is smooth and efficient operationally, managing correspondence, coordinating the Senator’s diary, inbox and travel arrangements, coordinating office operations, overseeing administrative functions, and facilitating constituent engagement.
This dynamic role provides the opportunity to work closely with Senator McKim’s team, manage volunteers, support collaboration with other parliamentary offices, engage with constituents and support event coordination.
This position would suit a highly organised person with management and administrative experience.
