The Central Coast Greens (CCG) are seeking a Campaign Assistant to help the group deliver a successful campaign in the upcoming 2023 state election (polling date 25 March 2023).
This is a part-time temporary position based on a fixed-term contract of approximately 15-20 hours per week, to be negotiated. More hours may be possible, subject to budget and availability.
All tasks and activities will be delivered in line with the Greens NSW and Central Coast Greens non-electoral campaign goals:
As CCG does not have a campaign office, the campaign assistant will work from home or another location agreed to by the CCG campaign co-ordinator. The position may involve some weekend and out-of-hours work to attend and report to campaign committee meetings as required, and to assist at events.
The campaign assistant should work 2 to 3 days a week, but these hours are flexible by arrangement with the CCG Campaign co-ordinator.
The successful applicant should have a functioning laptop and phone, but if not, arrangements can be made. Expense claims for internet and phone will be covered, subject to the Campaign Coordinators approval.
The successful candidate will be employed by The Greens NSW. The Greens NSW is an equal opportunity employer. Pay and conditions are based on the current Greens NSW Staff Collective Agreement, at Admin Step 2 ($43.92 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation).
Please see the position description attached. The Essential and Desirable selection criteria must be addressed. Contact details for two referees, one of whom has been a recent employer, will be requested in the event of an interview.
