  • Monitor the progress of the Bereavement Model in South Australia and identify opportunities for GriefLink to align with and support the model.
  • Assist in promotional activities to ensure widespread awareness of the GriefLink online resources in the community (e.g. using GriefLink’s pamphlets, QR code, or other contemporary means of communication).
  • Expand GriefLink's reach by networking with relevant organisations (e.g., Palliative Care SA, Dementia Australia, Carers SA).
  • Use web analytics to monitor performance and explore opportunities for consumer feedback.

4. Personal Characteristics & Skills

  • An independent contractor with an ABN.
  • Familiarity with current thinking and practices in loss and grief.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collate and synthesise evidence to inform development and draft of resources, including input from clinical, policy, and academic experts and bereaved individuals. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong networking skills and willingness to engage with a broad range of organisations.
  • Flexibility to take on additional tasks and attend meetings outside standard hours if required.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

The position is available to commence immediately and will finish on 30th June 2026.

The salary is $60 per hour, but with no out-of-hours, travel, or other on-costs.

Hours will be flexible, but with a minimum of 8 hours per week. It is anticipated that the development of the new VAD page will require additional time beyond the 8 hours per week.
