  • Location: Brisbane - mobile service, work from home and see clients in the community
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Salary: $85,000- $119,000 + super + travel allowance + performance bonuses + $2000 CPD allowance yearly

At Grow Allied Health, we specialize in providing holistic care to clients across disability services. Our team of allied health professionals works collaboratively to create comprehensive care plans that support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our clients who are accessing the NDIS. Our team works with both adults and children throughout Southern and Western Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and at the Lockyer Valley. We are passionate about the communities and families that we serve and are committed towards our purpose of providing the highest quality, innovative care that is inclusive to all.

Our small, friendly, warm, fun, funny team has nine team members, including other Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Counsellors and one admin star! Our business model is focused on providing the best support towards our team, we know that happy and supported therapists do better work. We strongly believe that our therapists should be appreciated, acknowledged and rewarded in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate clients' functional abilities and limitations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to enhance clients capacity and development
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated client care.
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  • Stay updated with best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Proven experience in providing client-centered care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Must have own vehicle and drivers licence
  • Love working with children
  • Experience working with First Nations peoples (highly preferred)
  • Experience working with developmental trauma (highly preferred)
