- Capacity to assess the impact of family violence and trauma on children and young people and provide child-focused and developmentally appropriate responses
- Understanding of and commitment to use evidence based, trauma informed responses to support positive outcomes, promoting independence, resilience, and enhanced quality of life for women, children, and young people
- Demonstrated capacity in the development and implementation of new programs and services applying a continuous improvement approach
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership across the organisation and to individual practitioners
