  • Experience and expertise in working with women and children experiencing family violence and homelessness in a healing and recovery context
  • Capacity to assess the impact of family violence and trauma on children and young people and provide child-focused and developmentally appropriate responses
  • Understanding of and commitment to use evidence based, trauma informed responses to support positive outcomes, promoting independence, resilience, and enhanced quality of life for women, children, and young people
  • Demonstrated capacity in the development and implementation of new programs and services applying a continuous improvement approach
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership across the organisation and to individual practitioners
