Good Shepherd Microfinance has an Australian Credit Licence and operates as a small amount credit (SACC) loan provider.

The Corporate Services division comprises our Finance and IT teams, which operate as key internal supports to this incredible work including the IT, finance, legal, risk and compliance functions for Good Shepherd Microfinance.

What will be your key focus?

The ACL Compliance Project Lead will spearhead the development and implementation of a sustainable compliance framework, built to facilitate the ongoing management and monitoring of Good Shepherd Microfinance’s ACL compliance requirements. With a depth of experience and exceptional technical knowledge, the ACL Compliance Project Lead will easily implement the framework while managing smooth transformation and uptake of supporting policies, procedures and methodologies that ensure ongoing compliance with key requirements.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Subject matter expertise in ACL compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks, reporting and monitoring
  • Strong verbal communication skills and previous success engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels and external partners and agencies
  • Strong written communication skills and demonstrated experience communicating technical information clearly and concisely, writing and editing policies and procedural documents, Board papers and reports
  • Legal, regulatory, banking or compliance background is highly regarded as is experience working or volunteering for a NFP or community organisation
  • The capacity and commitment to work in alignment with the values of Good Shepherd Microfinance
