We have openings for Disability Support Workers seeking casual employment but who can commit to regular weekly shifts. This will mainly be Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts.
Our goal is to provide continuity of care by placing a staff member with a family throughout their care period. You may work with more than one family at a time dependent on your availability.
Our clients are all children who have complex health needs. You will be required to provide one-on-one support to a child within their home environment and actively work to support their NDIS Plan goals. We specialise in supporting clients from birth to six years but also worth with older children and young people up to 18 years.
Before you apply, please consider your availability - we are interested in applicants seeking casual but regular days who can commit to at least two but ideally three or more shifts per weeks. We pay a good casual rates plus applicable shift penalties, provide ongoing training and regular networking meetings.
All staff are required to travel within the Perth metro area. A reliable car is therefore essential.
Experience in providing care to children along with Certificate level qualifications or working towards a nursing degree will be highly regarded. Additionally all staff are required to:
