Head of Program Delivery - Wacol

Happy Paws Happy Hearts

Are you ready to lead the charge and make a ‘paw-sitive’ impact on the lives of socially isolated individuals and adorable furry companions? Happy Paws Happy Hearts wants YOU to join our pack as our Head of Program Delivery. It's time to unleash your leadership skills and spread joy across Australia!

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Program Delivery to join our dynamic team. As the Head of Program Delivery, you will play a crucial role in defining, delivering, reviewing and researching the learning and specialist content of HPHH locations across Australia.

About Us

Happy Paws Happy Hearts (HPHH) brings socially isolated people together in groups, to care for and train rescue animals. Our unique twist is that we deliver training at local rescue shelters and wildlife sanctuaries. Instead of taking trained pets to people, we've demonstrated a more robust and scalable model, which takes the people to animals in need. This is a win-win for two complex social challenges.

HPHH is a national organisation and we're growing quickly! We are seeking to expand our reach and impact, by supporting participants in our life-changing courses to experience meaningful interactions with people and rescue animals – building skills, connections, and confidence.

We offer a rewarding career, flexible work arrangements, attractive not-for-profit salary sacrificing benefits and a supportive work environment.

About The Role

As the Head of Program Delivery, you will have a direct impact on HPHH's growth through the operational delivery of high-quality social outcomes and fee-for-service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Lead and manage a highly effective team
  • Build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as social work, psychology, or animal behaviour
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the ability to complete the same within 6 months of commencing in the role
  • Disability experience, knowledge, and/or training relevant to the position
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage staff and volunteers
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Passion for animal welfare and commitment to the mission and values of Happy Paws Happy Hearts
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed
  • Working knowledge of Work Health and Safety

If you are a self-driven individual with a passion for creating positive change, we would love to hear from you.

Join our team at Happy Paws Happy Hearts and be part of an organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and making a difference.
