About the role

Reporting to the Head of Volunteer Services, you'll work within the Mission in Action of HammondCare and have responsibility for recruiting, leading, managing and onboarding a team of Volunteer Coordinators and Volunteers for HammondCare. Duties include:

• Management and mentoring of Volunteer Coordinators
• Promoting HammondCare's valued Volunteer service

The role is offered on a Permanent Part-time basis working 3 days per week and is based at St Leonards.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated experience working as a Volunteer Coordinator
• Demonstrate ability to lead and guide volunteer teams
• Able to maintain accurate records in a volunteer database
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve and remain flexible in changing environments
• Strong communicator, empathy and good conflict resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Passion for working in Aged Care
