About the role

This exciting program is offering a project-based internship for a young person who is looking to develop their skills and gain practical work experience.

In this internship you will:

  • Apply your knowledge to a practical context, acquire new skills, make connections, and bring your unique energy and insights to the team.
  • Work with the headspace National Multicultural Practice team on their 'Knowledge Sharing Library' project.
  • Support the participation of young people and family.
  • Work at headspace in the Melbourne CBD office (with a mix of in-office and online teams meetings) for two days a week over 12 weeks.

Who we're looking for

We want someone aged 18-25 who is:

  • Passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of multicultural young people.
  • Ready to dive into a variety of tasks and collaborate on projects.
  • Comfortable working with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

  • Have the right to live and work in Australia
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or pass the WWCC required for this role
  • Pass a headspace Police Check
