About the role

Join headspace as our Manager Employee Relations. As a member of the People and Culture leadership team, you'll lead the charge in delivering high-quality employee relations services and drive initiatives and practices that support headspace to evolve its positive workplace culture.

As a subject matter expert, the Manager Employee Relations will provide expertise and support across a variety of employee relations and industrial relations matters. This role offers an opportunity to drive pragmatic and effective outcomes, build organisational capability, manage risk, and contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture aligned with the vision and purpose of headspace.

Who we're looking for

headspace is looking for a highly skilled professional with a solid background in employee and industrial relations. You thrive in managing complex cases, offering practical solutions, and building strong, collaborative partnerships. With exceptional communication skills and sound judgement, you excel at translating technical information into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in industrial relations, human resources, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in workplace relations advice and complex case management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and enterprise agreement interpretation.
  • Experience representing organisations in tribunals.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement contemporary policies and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
