Cooperation Program (ANCP) DFAT accreditation, work in close collaboration with key staff across the organisation, including the CEO and Board, and supported by two experienced DFAT Reviewers.
As Australia’s peak national organisation for the community HIV response, Health Equity Matters supports member organisations working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex communities, people living with HIV, sex workers, people who use drugs, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Through advocacy, policy, and health promotion it leads Australia’s effort to end HIV transmission and promote the health of its communities.
In the Asia Pacific region, Health Equity Matters uses the same strengths to promote effective policy, strengthen local community leadership, and support communities in their work in HIV, health and human rights.
This role calls for an experienced project manager and team player who can work independently and has strong relevant experience to support Health Equity Matters to successfully prepare for and achieve DFAT accreditation. Demonstrated success in achieving and maintaining DFAT accreditation is essential.
Strong program management and stakeholder engagement capabilities in combination with an ability to work effectively and influence outcomes across the organisation, with people from a range of different functional teams is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills are also essential.
