Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Certificate IV in Disability or Mental Health.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with participants with challenging behaviours and complex supports.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Additional qualifications or certifications in relevant areas such as First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration, NDIS Screening Check Card and Blue Card.
• Experience in implementing behaviour support plans and strategies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each participant.
• Knowledge of person-cantered approaches and a commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
