Established in 2003, Ninti One Limited (Ninti) works with First Nations peoples and government, organisations and businesses to achieve social and economic development outcomes through research, innovation and engagement in Australia – and more recently in a range of sectors across the Pacific and Asia. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this project management role will work closely with clients and contractors and is responsible for the day-to-day management of research and evaluation projects. The role has a focus on high quality project management and execution including client and stakeholder management. You will be taking a key role in the planning, development and monitoring of data collection and client contract deliverables. You will enjoy managing all aspects of a project from business proposals, delivery plans, project budget, risk, status reports and stakeholder liaison. No day will be the same balancing competing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously whilst adapting to changing circumstances and project requirements.
Applications are sought from candidates with understanding of the cultural, political, economic and social issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The ideal candidate will have relevant project and contract management expertise, with a demonstrated ability to develop and disseminate complex project documentation, reports, and correspondence, and to deliver project objectives.
Expert communication, interpersonal and stakeholder skills combined with demonstrable ability to liaise and negotiate at senior management/executive levels, and to inform and influence a range of project partners, stakeholders, and end-users. An ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver outcomes and solve problems is essential. Knowledge of government grants systems and processes is desirable.
