The Role

As a Client Engagement Specialist, you will be a part of a collaborative and vibrant team that leads health conversations with participants of the NDIS and HCP (Aged Care), their families and support circles. You will guide them through the onboarding process before they transition to our client services team.

You will assist our clients in taking control of their health through specialised, nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

Deliver an amazing customer experience:

  • Nurture relationships and build rapport with key external stakeholders to generate referrals for NDIS and HCP (Aged Care) participants
  • Support NDIS and HCP (Aged Care) participants, their families and key stakeholders throughout the onboarding process. This involves various communication touch points - inbound & outbound phone calls, emails and live chat.
  • Listen to their requirements and understand the impact of their disability or circumstances on their health & nutrition
  • Collect key individual information to guide the design of services
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders and the NDIS to support participants in using their NDIS funding for healthy home-delivered meals

Work alongside our Community Engagement Manager:

  • Build new stakeholder relationships with referrers such as support coordinators via phone/email to drive quality leads for new client opportunities

  • Nurture current relationships via phone/email (includes check in’s to see how services are going, obtaining any feedback or comments, booking in personal development sessions etc)

  • Assist the Community Engagement Manager with various Business Development tasks (eg. Expo…)

Essential skills & attributes:

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service position
  • Exceptional people skills and empathy, with an ability to build strong relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Ability and drive to hit and exceed targets
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal) and a high level of attention to detail
  • Confidence making outbound calls to stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • A positive approach to the challenges of a high-growth business

Desirable skills & attributes:

  • Knowledge of the NDIS or Aged-Care Sector
  • Background in nutrition

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • This is considered a ‘risk assessed’ role and requires an NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC). This link outlines the screening requirements for the state or territory where this role operates.
