THE OPPORTUNITY

• Salary: $87,716 - $96,613 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
• Time Fraction: Full-Time, 1.0 EFT.
• Location: Chadstone campus.
• WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
• Position Status: Contract of employment to 31 December 2024.

Join our Apprentice Central team as an Apprentice Support Officer, where you'll actively promote the Apprenticeship Support Centre service to Holmesglen pre-apprentices, apprentices, and potential employers.

In this role, you will engage proactively with pre-apprentices, apprentices, trainees, employers, trade teachers, parents, schools, and apprenticeship service providers to identify and support "at-risk" students, providing holistic support to boost retention.

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in the apprenticeship sector, adept at engaging young learners and addressing the unique stresses of their environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety principles to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Extensive expertise in the Vocational Education sector, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics and practices.
• Holds a relevant degree, postgraduate qualification, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, reflecting a robust educational background.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently coordinating tasks, while also excelling in a collaborative team setting.
• Demonstrates exceptional administrative and record-keeping skills, along with high proficiency in technology.
• Possesses excellent verbal, written, and counselling skills, enabling effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
