THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Salary: $83,214 - $89,326 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • Time Fraction: Part Time, 0.5 EFT.
  • Location: Chadstone campus.
  • WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
  • Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
  • Position Status: Contract of employment until 19 December 2025.

The Holmesglen Employment Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Case Manager to manage the Reconnect program!

The successful candidate will provide outplacement, mentoring, support, and job brokerage services to displaced workers, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. This role involves ensuring all reporting requirements are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.

You will also deliver intensive case management, linking participants to targeted training, vocational outcomes, and sustainable employment, with a focus on priority job seekers. Additionally, you will support the Manager in various activities to ensure the effective operation and delivery of services associated with the Reconnect program.

ABOUT YOU

  • Extensive case management experience supporting individuals to reengage with education, training, or employment.
  • Strong understanding of the Victorian Government’s Reconnect Program and career guidance techniques.
  • Proven experience in delivering outplacement services, job brokerage, and sourcing support services.
  • Degree or post-graduate qualifications in Youth Work, Welfare, Counselling, or similar, with relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated empathy and effective customer service skills, particularly with disadvantaged and disengaged individuals.
