THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Salary: $142,002 - $146,838 per annum + 11% super + leave loading.
  • Time Fraction: Full-time, 1.0 EFT position.
  • Location: Chadstone campus.
  • WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
  • Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
  • Position Status: Ongoing appointment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

Join our team at the Holmesglen English Language Centre where you will provide insightful educational leadership to our language staff, offering strategic advice to the Executive leadership group on all programs and services within the Centre.

As the key driver of business development, you will initiate, plan, promote, and manage programs, services, and activities. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in senior management policy development and strategic planning for the Institute, ensuring alignment with our mission, values, and objectives.

Responsible for the efficient management of human, financial, and physical resources, you will oversee compliance with relevant Institute and external standards while developing, managing, and monitoring the Centre's budget. In addition, you will uphold the Holmesglen Management System and create a safe work environment, adhering to OH&S policies and procedures.

ABOUT YOU

  • Substantial senior management experience in education, with extensive leadership and motivation of large and diverse staff.
  • Sound knowledge of international education, English language training sector courses, and community partnerships.
  • Understanding of Vocational Education and Training system, Higher Education, and current issues in VET and Higher Education.
  • Relevant degree and postgraduate qualification and business management qualifications.
  • Knowledge of AQTF requirements and thorough understanding of EO, OHS, bullying, harassment, and privacy legislation.
  • Financial management expertise, including costing, budgeting, and expenditure control.
  • Project management experience in developing and implementing large projects and partnerships in Vocational and/or Higher Education sector.
  • Ability to effectively plan and implement new teaching programs, delivery strategies and new technology.
