THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
  • Time Fraction: Part Time, 0.4 EFT.
  • Location: Moorabbin campus.
  • WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
  • Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
  • Position Status: Ongoing contract of appointment with a 6-month qualifying period.

The Allied Health Services and Science department is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to create and implement instructional and assessment materials, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education!

In this role, you will engage in every aspect of the student learning journey, from responding to course inquiries and providing guidance to evaluating and addressing the educational and training needs of our students.

ABOUT YOU

  • Passion for applying contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Relevant and current work experience within a hospital environment - Patient Services Attendant and/or Operating Theatre Technician specialisation preferred.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching and learning to accommodate to students with diverse support needs.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
  • Relevant industry qualification - Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
