THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
  • Time Fraction: 2 x Part Time, 0.15 EFT (Wednesday)
  • Location: Chadstone and Moorabbin campuses.
  • WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
  • Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
  • Position Status: Contract of employment until 31 December 2025.

Holmesglen's Vocational College & Social Inclusion Department provides a supportive teaching environment, emphasising innovation and strong industry partnerships.

We are seeking two experienced professionals with TAE qualifications to deliver VDSS small business programs as part of the Certificate II in Small Business Operations and Innovation.

This course, delivered within the VET Delivered to Secondary School Students (VETDSS) under the VCE program, helps students gain essential skills to run a small business effectively. Covering marketing, financial assistance, and innovative strategies, it explores various aspects of small business operations and entrepreneurship.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven ability to engage and teach young and senior secondary students, including developing tailored learning materials for youth programs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
  • Possess well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with strong customer service abilities to liaise effectively with students.
