Join the Holmesglen Employment Centre as a Youth Counsellor, specialising in supporting disengaged youth!
In this meaningful role, you will provide tailored one-on-one career counselling to help young, disengaged youth identify and achieve their career goals. Working closely with school-aged early school leavers, you will deliver targeted outreach and guidance, focusing on those at risk of disengagement.
You will conduct initial check-ins to understand aspirations, needs, and preferred support methods, while assisting young people in developing their skills and confidence for seamless transitions into education, training, and employment pathways.
Collaborating with stakeholders, you will design and implement career education activities and employability programs, as well as contribute to career expos, job fairs, and workshops that enhance youth employment outcomes. Guided by CAS delivery guidelines, you will deliver youth-focused, qualified career advice that makes a tangible difference in the lives of young people.
